HD Video Depot Shipping Policy and Services


Shipping Rates

Pricing is determined by the weight, size, and selected shipping speed of the order.  Cost is set by our linked USPS, UPS, FedEX, and DHL Express accounts.  **Note** If you prefer to use your own shipping service or account please contact us before you order. 


Estimated Delivery Dates

Packages will be shipped from our location in Southern California.  Orders take 1-2 days to process depending on the time they were placed.  Shipping speed is determined by carrier service and weight of the order. Estimated days do not include weekends or holidays.  Certain services do deliver on Saturdays.

Check our shipping map for estimated shipping days when using UPS ground and USPS First Class Mail.   


Shipping Services Offered


USPS First Class Mail

For orders less than 1 lb(16oz) product weight, HDVideoDepot will ship via USPS First Class Mail service. Products will be delivered in 1 to 5 business days with tracking and delivery confirmation. 


USPS Priority Mail

For orders over 1 lb(16oz) product weight and below 5 lb, HDVideoDepot will ship through USPS Priority Mail service. Products will be delivered in 1 to 3 business days with USPS tracking number. It also includes up to $50 of insurance by default.


UPS Ground

We use UPS Ground for shipments heavier than 5 lb and large size packages. UPS Ground is a cost-effective shipping method for either commercial or residential delivery. Products will be delivered 1 to 6 working days with shipment tracking number. 


UPS Air Shipment

HDVideoDepot offers UPS Next Day Air and UPS 2nd Day Air shipping solutions for customers who need our products urgently. Select UPS Air Shipment for the fastest, most reliant service method. If a customer uses UPS Next Day Air service, products will be delivered next day for orders placed before 1pm Pacific Standard Time.


FedEX and DHL Express

We use these carrier services for special circumstances or certain countries.  Tracking will be available for all orders sent through these carriers.


Free Shipping For Domestic Orders Over $35

HDVideoDepot offers free ground shipping for all purchases within the USA with a grand total over $35 after discounts and before taxes.  Free shipping is not limited by the quantity ordered or weight. Please select the “FREE SHIPPING” option during checkout. Our free shipping guarantee does not include any expedited or air shipping service.


International Shipping Service

We do ship internationally. If you would like a quote, please add the items you would like to purchase to the cart.  The following page will have a section called "Estimate Shipping and Tax". Provide your country and zip/postal code and click "Get a Quote" to see available shipping services and cost. If you have issues getting a quote, you can use contact us using the information provided below to ask for pricing.


USPS Priority International

  • Delivery in 6 to 10 business days (does not include customs clearance time).
  • Includes USPS Tracking®
  • Includes up to $100 insurance for non-negotiable document reconstruction and up to $200 insurance for merchandise for loss or damage.


 UPS Worldwide Express

  • Delivery to Canada > Next Day
  • Delivery to Mexico, Latin America, and Europe > 2 days
  • Delivery to Middle East, Asia, and Africa > 3 days
  • Door to door service and In-house customs clearance included (customs clearance time included in above shipping estimate).
  • Includes UPS tracking.


Did Not Receive or Lost Packages

Our policy is if tracking shows it has been delivered, then the package has reached its destination.  For tracking that shows a very long period of time without an update or lost, please let us know.  We can assist you in promptly having the carrier open an investigation.

Even though a carrier tracking number shows a status of “delivered”, sometimes the tracking status might be incorrect.  It’s rare that a package is actually “lost” nowadays with GPS scanning of packages received and delivered. 


Here are some possible actions to take to locate your package:


1. Another household member received the package and placed it somewhere within the residence.

What to do?  > Check with other household members about the package.  They could have placed it out of sight and haven’t notified anyone yet.


2. The package could still be on the truck, at the local postal office, or the regions transfer hub.

What to do?  > Even if tracking shows “delivered” it could very well still be in transit or being held.  It is good to wait a few days after the delivery date to see if it shows up.  With USPS the package maybe held at the local post office because the package was too big or delivery area not secure.  If it was shipped USPS please call your local post office to find out if they are holding your package.  Other carriers may have it at local pickups, lockers, or hubs.


3. The package was delivered to the wrong address, perhaps to a nearby neighbor.

What to do?  > Please check with your neighbors to see if they have accidentally received your package.


4. The carrier decided your front door step was not safe or raining and put it at the back door or side of the house.

What do do? > Do a sweep around the house to check to see if the package is somewhere out of the ordinary.
